1930s Gentlemen’s Boutonniere in Brass with metal plating.

A rare gentlemen’s boutonniere which is a floral decoration worn by gentlemen. The word ’boutonniere’ is french for buttonhole. This would be worn in the lapel with a flower placed inside and clipped by the stem to keep the flower from drooping. The boutonniere has a couple of small dents and a small chip in the plating on the back and of course this does not notice when worn. Very Poirot!
