This buckle is from the 1920s and would have been worn on a belted dress but I have sold them as hair decorations and handbag ornaments or even to secure a stole. The stones are small and in wonderful condition and the buckle measures two and a half inches by two inches ie 6.5 cms x 5 cms.
Beautiful Czechoslovakian diamante (paste) buckle claw set in goldtone metal filigree. This buckle measures 2.5 inches by 1 3/8 of an inch (6.5 cms x 3.5 cms) and would look lovely worn in your hair too. The buckle is engraved ‘Made in Czechoslovakia’ and is very collectable.
This beautiful unusual buckle is 2 inches wide by 1 inch high (5 cms x 2.5 cms) and is for a belt but would look great as a brooch or sewn on to a handbag. The main part of the brooch is made of pressed steel and the hook and eye are diamante (paste) stones set in nickel.
