1960s Prince of Wales Check WOOL Coat-Dress by Howard Hirsh of California 38 inch Chest
A classic all wool with black silk lining coat-dress from the 1960s made by Howard Hirch of California. This is a versatile garment, in light weight wool in Prince of Wales check and can be worn as a button thru dress, their are large loops to add a belt should you wish to do this or it can be worn as a coat over a dress. There is a long slit at the back and the coat has a slight flare. I do not believe this has been worn but I have cleaned it to freshen.
Measurements are 38 inch chest 36 inch waist 40 inch hip and shoulder to shoulder 16 inch. I would say a UK 14.
